I'm actually trying to figure out Godot Engine right now - and I see there's actually a 2,5D preset project, which is going to help me a lot in making the game look as I want (when I tried using Unity, I somewhat struggled to make 2D sprites work in 3D in the way I wanted).

About the soundtrack, I'm somewhat worried as I'm pretty disorganized and slow in making music, so I'm not sure whether I'm going to be able to develop an entire soundtrack (and make it cohesive) - but so far I just worked on whatever I felt like working on and whenever I felt like it, so maybe when I'm going to commit on working on it, I'm also going to be more motivated when it comes to music.

Still, that may take a while, as I have a tendency to work on multiple projects at the same time (some crucial exams are just behind me, though I'm still going further with education, I'm making a Planet Coaster park, I have several songs to finish up, and I plan to start work on an big Minecraft map with my friend, do some socializing and even write a novel). It makes the progress in everything slower, but I guess that it also prevents burnout, so it's not all bad?

Oh, I had problems with coming up with an title for the game itself. What would you say about 'Heart of the Grid' or something like that (for some reason I really want to include the word 'heart')
